ABOUT ME
I am a certified Usui Reiki Master, attuned to Holy Fire Reiki I & II, and a trained Elemental Rhythm Breathwork Facilitator. But more than titles, I am a seeker, a witness, and a woman who has walked through the fire of chronic pain—and emerged with deep reverence for the body's capacity to heal.
For over eighteen years, I lived with persistent physical pain—injuries, surgeries, environmental sensitivities—all of it layered over time until my nervous system, my emotions, and my spirit began to fracture beneath the weight. The constant pain signal to my brain became unbearable, coloring every aspect of my life.
In my search for relief, I found myself standing at the intersection of Western and Eastern medicine, longing for a bridge that honored both. When conventional treatments could no longer support me, I turned inward. What I needed was not another quick fix—but a holistic return. A healing that included the whole of me: body, mind, and spirit.
Because the body remembers. It keeps score—of traumas, heartbreaks, and untold stories—sometimes louder than words, sometimes silently buried beyond the reach of X-rays and MRIs. True healing, I discovered, must go beyond symptom management. It must reach into the unseen layers.
That’s when I found Reiki. Or maybe, it found me. Gentle, powerful, and deeply intuitive, Reiki helped me reconnect with my own vitality. Then in 2023, on a yoga retreat in Costa Rica, I experienced Elemental Rhythm Breathwork for the first time—and it cracked me open in the best way. I had no idea the breath could hold that much power, that much clarity, that much release.
It changed everything.
I came home knowing I had to share these transformational practices. I became certified in both modalities not just to heal myself, but to support others in remembering their own inner healer.
Today, I am honored to hold space for others as they navigate their own returns—to presence, to peace, to self. I integrate the science of the nervous system with the spirituality of breath and energy. My approach is trauma-aware, heart-centered, and grounded in the belief that healing is both sacred and possible.
The creation of Koru Healing Arts was a natural next step—an offering born from lived experience.
The Koru is a symbol from Māori tradition—spiraling like an unfurling fern. It represents new life, renewal, growth, strength, and harmony. To me, it is also a symbol of eternal movement, of cycles completing and beginning again.
This is the space I offer you:
A sacred pause.
A breath inward.
A return to wholeness.
